Women's Voices 2016 - Photo Collage

THANK YOU to those who joined us at another phenomenal Women’s Voices luncheon in support of Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation & Family Services!

Women’s Voices was named THE NUMBER ONE charity lunch event in Orange County by the Orange County Business Journal’s 2016 Charity Event Guide – and we can understand why! Inspiring words from our Keynote Speaker, author Laura Schroff, and the joy of over 650 women coming together in the spirit of women’s philanthropy echo through our minds. Our hearts are simply filled with gratitude for everyone who made the day possible, especially our Women’s Voices Co-Chairs Sherri Winkler and Nadine Durbach and Women’s Philanthropy President Lori Schwartz. Of course, we are thrilled to have had the chance to honor our 2016 Woman of the Year, the inimitable force for good that is Toni Mandel McDonald.

Chag Purim Sameach

Purim begins on Wednesday, March 23. The holiday commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from Haman, the ancient Persian leader who planned to kill all the Jews. Today, we feast and celebrate, reading the megillah, exchanging gifts of food and drink (mishloach manot), eating hamentaschen, and donating to the poor (mattanot la-evyonim), amongst other customs.

Wishing you a happy Purim, full of celebration and fun!
