Jennifer Richardson

“I grew up in Tampa, Florida with three brothers and one sister. My parents emphasized to all of us, from a young age, the importance of family, faith, traditions and community. My family attended services regularly. We always looked forward to Sunday School because my mom and dad would pick us up with lox and bagels. What a great incentive! On the rides home, we would discuss our Sunday School experiences. This is the foundation of my values and Jewish tradition, which ultimately led to great pride in my community.

“Today, I share my faith, knowledge, and experience with my colleagues, friends, family, and my community, in established as well as new, creative ways. I am committed to helping create a future that not only benefits me and my family, but also helps others thrive. I hope my children and future generations will continue to inspire and motivate the people and the community around them. Actions speak louder than words and children learn by example. If not now, when? If not me, who?”
