The Families Program of Jewish Federation & Family Services (JFFS) is excited to welcome new babies into the OC Jewish community!
Whether you’re an expectant parent or a new parent, we are here for YOU! Our goal is to help OC families raising Jewish children (affiliated, non-affiliated, interfaith, or nontraditional) celebrate the arrival of their newborn and learn about resources in our community.
Be sure to check out our JFFS Resource Guide for Families with Babies and Young Children.
Expectant parents and families with baby up to 6 months of age: Please join us on Sunday, April 7, for a “Baby Sprinkle” celebrating our littlest and newest community members! Older siblings may attend. Find more information and sign up here.
One of our most popular programs, PJ Library sends a FREE Jewish children's book to your doorstep every month!
Jewish-content books, as well as music, are free to children age six months through eight years. All OC families with a Jewish child within this age range are eligible to receive them. Made possibly bythe national PJ Library/the Harold Grinspoon Foundation organization and generous donors to Jewish Federation & Family Services of Orange County, these books go to more than 1,200 families throughout Orange County every year.
Books are about Jewish holidays, folk tales, and values like being kind to others. They're kid-tested, age appropriate, and beautifully illustrated! You'll love them as much as your kids do.
If you have questions, please contact PJ Library OC Manager Jillian Katz at Jillian@JFFS.org.
Use the form below to sign yourself up or register an expectant/new parent you know to receive a FREE JFFS "Welcome Baby" bag filled with fun and useful gifts from the OC Jewish community! Babies up to 12 months of age are eligible to receive a "Welcome Baby" bag.
When you sign up, you (or the family you register) will also receive a FREE age-appropriate PJ Library book delivered to the doorstep each month, as well as a monthly eNewsletter for families with young children, filled with information about fun local Jewish activities and opportunities for your family.
And check out our Facebook Group to learn about local Jewish events and parenting topics.
