Student To Student

The growth of the Rose Project’s Student to Student (STS) program is remarkable. This fall semester alone (year three of the program), over 40 STS Teen Ambassadors impacted 1,700 students, compared to 150 students in its first academic year. Our STS Teen Ambassadors remain committed to combatting antisemitism and bigotry within middle and high school, and their presentations leave an indelible mark on the students’ understanding of diversity, religious tolerance, and the importance of countering prejudice. Participants leave with a heightened commitment to interrupt antisemitic comments and stereotypes wherever they may encounter them, both inside and outside the school setting. The ripple effect of these engagements contributes significantly to fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and active resistance against prejudice within the student body.

If you know of a teen who is interested in joining as a STS Teen Ambassador in 2024, please contact Robin Steinmetz.
