A 77-year-old woman, living on her own in affordable housing, had to leave her job due to health issues. Our Lifelines Social Services team provided case management, numerous resource referrals, financial coaching to manage her household budget, emotional support during her health crisis, and gift cards for groceries and household essentials. Now that her health has improved, she is seeking a suitable part-time job to make ends meet. She had high praise for our resourcefulness and support, which alleviated her stress. Despite her challenges, she is hopeful and grateful to Jewish Federation Lifelines Assistance.
