What does it mean to make the call on Super Sunday? 
 
When you join Jewish Federation as a Super Sunday volunteer, every call you make is a mitzvah.  Every dollar donated by our community supports Jewish life, learning and leadership.  Making the call means you are saving lives, ensuring aid to people in crisis at home and abroad, providing Jewish education to our youth and adults, giving comfort and care to our seniors, building Jewish life on campus, and more. That's what it means to make the call.

Community-Wide Event for Job Seekers & Employers

Save the date of Tuesday, March 9th for OC Works! This community-wide event, for all job-seekers and employers in the OC region, is a full day of free job search programming.

Part I: Build & Refine Your Skills  takes place from 8-11am at the Samueli Jewish Campus. Part II: Meet Potential Employers  takes place from 12noon-3pm at neighboring Mariners Church.

Invitations are in the mail for Women's Voices 2010 - the largest annual gathering of Jewish women in Orange County - on Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Irvine. 

Business leader and philanthropist Jamie McCourt will be interviewed by NBC4's Vikki Vargas, and Susan Glass will receive the Anne Entin Woman of the Year Award.  Daryl Kress and Amy Rousso co-chair this exciting event.  Click here for more!

Israel's Ambassador to the US Visits OC

His Excellency Michael B. Oren, Israel's Ambassador to the United States, addresses our community on Monday, February 8th at the UC Irvine Student Center. His topic: US-Israel Relations: A Historical and Personal Perspective.

PLEASE NOTE:  This event is at capacity - no further attendance confirmations will be accepted.  The Ambassador's appearance has been made possible by a grant from the Rose Project of Jewish Federation and the support of the Margolis Family Foundation.

Spice Up Your Purim!

Spice up your Purim with fragrant hookah at the hottest O.C. party of the season! Young Leadership Division's Hookahs & Hamantaschen -- H&H 3.0 -- will be at the Atrium Lounge in Irvine on February 27th at 8:00pm. Sip cocktails with young professionals in the tropical poolside cabanas while listening to the hottest music, enjoying bellydance performances, sampling delicious Middle Eastern appetizers.... all while dressed in your funkiest Purim costumes.
